A Little About Myself.Hello! My name is Shayden Todhunter. I am currently a senior at the University of Mary. I will be graduating in April of 2021 with a degree in Biology Education.
I am from Harlowton, Montana. It's a small town in a valley surrounded by ranches and mountains. I am the oldest of three, which has shaped me into a leader and care giver. I am very close with my family as we have gotten to go on many adventures together. It is my family, Catholic faith, friends, and community that have shown me how important relationships are and inspire me to grow and be a better person. I have an outgoing personality and love meeting people! I enjoy going on adventures and being with people I love. I love to be outdoors especially to hunt, fish, camp, kayak, and boating. I also have a deep love for sports, (especially basketball, football, and hockey) and really enjoy going to games and cheering my team on! Once you get to know me you'll just find that I enjoy life and the world around me. |

Why Education?
I think from the beginning I had a hunger for learning. I wanted to know how things worked and why they were there. This desire for learning was fostered from before I went to school. My dad always was teaching me something about the world around me and it fascinated me. We would go hunting together and he would teach me about the land and the animals we were hunting. I was always the crazy kid who wanted to gut the animal to see how all the organs and systems worked. So as I grew up and furthered my education I discovered my love of learning and wanted to share that with everyone around me. When I realized that I decided to go into education, so my students could also be excited about learning science as well.
